In just two short years, Victors have gone from the pubs and clubs of their native Leeds to having their tracks played around the stadiums of the NFL. The popular four piece comprises Harry Waterhouse, Simon Appleson, Mathew Gillen and Dominic Brooks, who have been working hard and touring together to build a fan base since 2015. Along the way they have supported the likes of Australian folk pop band Pierce Brothers at the O2 Academy in London, and Will Young and Fleur East on the main stage of Manchester Pride. A real crowd pleaser, Victors’ bright pop/dance style is a huge hit at festivals making them a must see live act. As part of a major tour planned for later this year, Victors have set their sights on the likes of Liverpool Sound City, Butterbeach Festival and Dot to Dot on the summer festival scene. Victors are just as impressive in the studio as they are on stage, with their debut single ‘Tonight’ catching the ear of everyone from Radio1’s Huw Stephens to Charlie Ashcroft on Radio X. That success was followed by the singles ‘Two Hearts’ and ‘Feel’ both of which have gained them a growing audience on Spotify of over 94,000 listener a month. The band marked their next step forward with their first EP ‘Wish You Were Her’ dropping in December 2016, combining their traditional upbeat vibe on the title track with some deeper, more ambient tunes. And with a packed programme ahead in 2017, Victors are on the cusp of making it very, very big.
