What can you say about Sarah Brightman that has not already been said in her 40year global career that has spanned stage and screen and produced over 30million record sales? She is a living legend, the world’s biggest selling soprano, a pioneer of the classical crossover music style and a huge favourite with musical theatre fans thanks to her incomparable performances in everything from Cats to the phenomenally successful Phantom of the Opera. Sarah Brightman famously possesses a three octave vocal range, and is just as diverse and wide ranging in the projects she puts those talents to, blending classical, electronic pop and rock in her own unique fusion in a host of successful albums. From the 1993 release, Dive, through albums like Fly, Eden, La Luna, Harem and Symphony, to the 2013 release Dreamchaser, Sarah has never been far from the charts, with her single Time To Say Goodbye, with Andrea Bocelli, selling 12million copies across the globe. Sarah Brightman performed the theme songs to over a combined 7 billion people at the opening of the Barcelona Olympic Games, and then again at the games in Beijing. She also commanded a nationwide audience in cinemas with the 25th anniversary performance of Phantom in 2011, a feat she repeated two years later for the Broadway anniversary in New York.
