RICH THE KID

Rich the Kid, or known to some as Dimitri Leslie Roger is an American rapper, producer and actor. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Dimitri is of Haitian descent but relocated to Georgia at the age of 13. Growing up listen to Hip-Hop legends like The Notorious BIG, 2pac & NAS. He released his first solo mixtape in 2013 Been About the Benjamins and later teamed up with Migos to release various mixtapes with. Building up a strong list of collaborators, Rich has worked with Riff Raff,Young Thug, Rockie Fresh, Kirko Bangz, Yo Gotti in his earlier days. Later releasing his first solo project titled Flexin On Purpose which features Fetty Wap, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan and Young Dolph. His hyped-up style of rapping matches the high energy trap Hip-Hop style that is used in his music. Coming through as one of the freshest upcoming stars in the new subgenre of Hip-Hop called Mumble. Though he had been talking to many different labels who were interested in signing him such as Colombia, RCA and Epic, he decided on signing with Interscope, saying “They gave me the opportunity to take over the game completely and that’s what I’m going to do'”. As long as Mumble rap continues to grow, Rich the Kid will be a key player in the scene.
