NACHO

Nacho is a Venezuelan singer and music executive, known for his hits as part of Calle Ciega, Chino & Nacho, and more recently as a celebrated solo artist. A diverse musical talent, who has worked across merengue, reggaeton, Latin trap and pop, he has earned a Latin Grammy Award and many other honours. Born Miguel Ignacio Mendoza Donatti, Nacho rose to fame as part merengue group Calle Ciega, with whom he released several albums including Caliente and No Pares de Sudar, and the hit single Mi Cachorrita. In 2007, Nacho and fellow band member Jesús Alberto Miranda Pérez left to form the duo Chino & Nacho, releasing their debut album Época de Reyes the following year. The pair performed at many major events, including the Copa América, the International Sun Fair, and Miss Venezuela, were twice named Artist of the Year at the Pepsi Venezuela Music Awards, and earned a Latin Grammy Award for Album of the Year. In the United States, they scored three Top Latin Albums Top 10s, and hit the No. 1 spot with the album Supremo. They became known for international hit singles including Niña Bonita, Bebé Bonita and Andas en Mi Cabeza, and collaborated with artists such as Jay Sean, Daddy Yankee, Divino and Fanny Lú. After ten years together, Chino & Nacho went their separate ways to pursue solo careers, and Nacho quickly signed with Universal Music Group both as a recording artist and a music executive. His first single as a solo artist, Báilame, topped the charts in multiple countries, was certified diamond in the US, and racked up a million YouTube views within just a day of its release. He has since collaborated with the likes of French Montana, Nicky Jam and Franco De Vita, and continues to release smash hit records.
