MALUMA

Singer, songwriter and actor Maluma is a Latin Grammy Award-winning reggaeton and Latin trap artist, racking up scores of worldwide hits. One of the hottest contemporary music stars to hail from Colombia, he is known for records including Felices Los 4, HP, Clandestino (featuring Shakira), and Barró Casette. Showing a talent in music from a young age, Maluma began releasing records aged 16, and his first single Farandulera quickly became a radio favourite. He released his debut album Magia the following year, which was certified Gold in Colombia, and his fame continued to grow with records including Pasarla Bien, Miss Independent, and La Temperatura, his first single to chart in the US. In 2015, he cemented his breakthrough, with his sophomore album Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy, which hit the top spot in the US Top Latin Albums chart and was certified multi-platinum in several countries. He has since released dozens of singles as a lead and featured artist, as well as the follow-up albums F.A.M.E and 11:11, and has charted across the world. He has collaborated with many of the biggest names in pop and Latin music including Madonna, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Nicky Jam and XXXTentacion. Maluma has performed three hit world tours, playing hundreds of dates across North and South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa. He has appeared as a coach on the Mexican and Colombian versions of The Voice, and made his big screen acting debut as Bastian in the 2020 romantic comedy Marry Me, alongside Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson and Sarah Silverman. He has won two Latin American Music Awards, a Latin Grammy Award and an MTV Europe Music Award, and has been nominated for many more, including for a Grammy Award and multiple Billboard Music Awards. .
