The song received critical acclaim for its addictive, syncopated sound, and has been credited with popularising the genre of South African house music. Hitting the top spot on the South African charts, the track was included in the Top 10 African songs of 2013. Their album Reunited was released the same year and earned the pair an incredible 12 South African Music Awards. Proving they still had a golden touch for producing irresistible hit music, hit single ‘Love Potion’ amassed over 18 million YouTube views and further cemented their popularity across the globe. .
