FERGIE

Fergie, born Stacy Ann Ferguson, is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She became famous as part of the hugely successful hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas, before going on to have her own chart-topping solo career. After early success as a child actor and singer in girl group Wild Orchid, the songstress first recorded with The Black Eyed Peas in 2003. Her vocals on their album launched her into the public eye, as she went on to feature on two more albums with them and release her first solo record in 2006. The band has won 8 Grammy Awards including Best Pop Vocal Album in 2010, and a MOBO Award in 2006 for Best Group. Her first solo album, The Dutchess, saw her reach number one in the singles chart an incredible three times, with the tracks London Bridge, Glamorous and Big Girls Don’t Cry. She continued to release music both as a part of the group and in her own right, juggling a busy touring schedule for both acts. The Black Eyed Peas embarked on the E.N.D World Tour in 2009, which saw them visit Australia, Thailand, Japan and Malaysia before announcing a hiatus which enabled Fergie to concentrate on her own projects. She released a second solo album in 2017, titled Double Dutchess, and launched her own record label division, Dutchess Music, as part of BMG Rights Management. Outside of music she has also launched a fragrance line, starred in feature films and owns a vineyard in California. .
