DREEZY

A fierce rapper with a captivating energy, Seandrea Sledge, better known as Dreezy, is one of Chicago’s most exciting hip-hop exports. The 26-year-old first showed an interest in music at the age of 14, with inspirations such as J. Cole and Lil Wayne. Working her way up to guest appearances with Sasha Go Hard and collaborations with Lil Durk, the rapper’s first mixtape (in collaboration with Mikey Dollaz) Business N Pleasure was released in 2013. Her explosive first solo mixtape Schizo in 2014 was quickly followed by her sensational remix of Nikki Minaj’s “Chiraq” in 2014. It garnered the attention from all those in the rap world and resulted in a collaboration with Common on his album Nobody’s Smiling as well a signing with Interscope records only a few months later. Her debut EP, Call it What You Want came in 2015, as did her second From Now On. Pushing full steam ahead, Dreezy didn’t waste time to then release her debut album No Hard Feelings in 2016. The album’s 19 songs have received millions of worldwide views and streams. Particular hits include “Body”, receiving 80 million Spotify streams and “Close to You” receiving nearly 15 million. Only a short time after, in 2017, she released the single “Spar” with no less than 6LACK and Kodak Black. With a clearly convincing musical talent, her dynamism resulted in her 2019 second album Big Dreez. The album includes smash hits such as “Chanel Slides” featuring Kash Doll as well as “Ecstasy” featuring Jeremih – gaining 15 million Spotify streams. As if not accomplished enough, she then featured in the Netflix movie Beats as Queen Cabrini.
