Darren Criss was born on February 5, 1987 in San Francisco, California, USA. He is an actor and composer, known for Glee (2009), Little White Lie (2009) and American Crime Story (2016). He has been married to Mia Swier since February 16, 2019.Darren Everett Criss is a well-known American actor, singer, and songwriter. He is illustrious for playing ‘Andrew Cunanan’ in ‘The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story’ (2018) for which he received a ‘Golden Globe’ and an ‘Emmy Award.’ He gained prominence with his portrayal of ‘Blaine Anderson’ in the popular American musical comedy-drama series 'Glee.' Criss wrote a song titled 'This Time,' for the final episode of the series which became a hit and earned him an 'Emmy' nomination. He is also a successful theater actor and he has been acting in plays from a young age. He made his Broadway debut with 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,' which was based on a book with the same name. He also played the role of ‘Hedwig’ in the musical 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch.' He is the founding member and co-owner of ‘StarKid Productions,’ a Chicago-based musical theater company. The company became famous for its musical 'A Very Potter Musical,' a parody of the popular ‘Harry Potter’ series. He hogged the limelight for his potrayal of Harry Potter in the musical. Criss has also appeared in various films. He made his feature film debut in 2012, when he was cast to play ‘Lee’ in the American comedy film 'Girl Most Likely.' He voiced animated characters in films like ‘The Wind Rises’ and ‘Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.' He also voiced the 'Superman' in the animated superhero film ‘Superman: Man of Tomorrow.’
